Julia Monosova is a certified yoga teacher, macrobiotic counselor, wellness coach, and plant-based chef. Born and raised in Ukraine, Julia embarked on her yoga journey with two years of private study before completing her first Yoga Teacher Training with the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization in 2009. She returned the following year to complete advanced training and later earned certification with the Qi-Yo Multi Yoga System in India. Julia is also a certified Yin Yoga and Kids Yoga instructor. Her most recent training was with Andrey Lappa in Universal Yoga, an experience she describes as one of the most profound of her life. To date, Julia has accumulated over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training.
Julia's passion for healthy eating and cooking is equally strong. Since 2010, she has been immersed in Macrobiotics and completed her Macrobiotic Counselor training with David Briscoe in 2016. She frequently participates in Macrobiotic Conferences, Vegan Cruises, and has cooked at various Yoga and Meditation Retreats. Julia also works as a private "healing foods" chef.
Her personal journey with yoga and Macrobiotics has brought her significant benefits, including increased energy, reduced disease risk, weight maintenance, and enhanced tranquility and compassion. Inspired by her transformation, Julia is dedicated to sharing her knowledge of yoga to empower and inspire others.
Julia practices Vipassana meditation, which, combined with yoga, helps her maintain harmony with nature and internal equilibrium. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, camping, hiking, social dancing, traveling, studying languages, and exploring new countries. Julia is passionate about leading a healthy, fulfilling life dedicated to spiritual growth, selfless service, and charity.
